		<description>I've thought about doing that project myself a number of times.  It comes down to the fact that i don't watch that much TV though.  My friend just setup a box to do some HDTV recording and didn't seem to find it all that difficult.  If you haven't been in the linux game recently, may I suggest trying to build the box on top of Ubuntu?  It's debian based so it's got all that nice apt-get stuff that makes like and dependancies easy.  Good luck.</description>
